Welcome to the 18th edition of the Demand and Supply Report. This report is published annually by CEPIPRINT
(Association of European Publication Paper Producers). It is a free service to all parties interested in the development
of the paper markets for Newsprint and Magazine grades.
You will notice that the report has changed since last year. We are happy to present the information in a new and, we
hope, improved package. The new look report includes a summary of the historical development in Mechanical
Publication Papers for both capacity and delivery data. There is also forecast data for 2003-2005, breakdown
of the capacity changes, machine width analyses and reviews of the largest markets and producers. New for this year is a
deeper look into Western European exports. All the traditional references can be found at the end of the report.
