Welcome to the 20th edition of the CEPIPRINT Demand-Supply Statistics. This report is published annually by CEPIPRINT, the
Association of European Publication Paper Producers. It is a
free service to all parties interested in the development of the
paper markets for Newsprint and Magazine grades.
CEPIPRINT has recently decided to focus its activities on the development of
historical statistics, a move away from the forecasting area. As a result, this
report concentrates on the period 1990- 2004 only and does not include any
forecast information, although it follows the same format as last year. The four
main sections remain dedicated to newsprint, uncoated mechanical, SC magazine
and coated mechanical reels. Information concerning quality definitions can be
found at the end of the report as usual.
