Who are we?

CEPIPRINT asbl is the Association of European Publication Paper Producers, which represents the industry sectors of Europe's newsprint and magazine paper grades within the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI).

CEPIPRINT is a legally and financially independent association based in Brussels, Belgium.

CEPIPRINT is a non-profit making organisation funded by its members.

CEPIPRINT members are manufacturers of newsprint and magazine paper grades in Europe.

CEPIPRINT membership currently includes 52 companies belonging to 16 independent groups, around 70 paper mills and 165 paper machines in 13 European countries.

In June 2001, CEPIPRINT became an affiliated member of the Pulp and Paper Products Council (PPPC) based in Montreal, Canada. PPPC is an alliance of product associations serving an international membership in the pulp and paper industry.

PPPC membership today accounts for close to 60% of global market pulp capacity and more than 50% of world communication papers capacity (newsprint and printing & writing papers).

In North America, PPPC serves its members through five product associations: North American Newsprint Producers Association, Market Pulp Association, Printing and Writing Papers Association, Packaging Mills Association and Paper Recycling Association.

Internationally, PPPC serves the pulp and paper industries through two associations - World Market Pulp Forum and CEPIPRINT.
